The fact that a car is stationary does not mean it does not need basic care so the side effects or malfunctions start to appear, as each car is built to move and not to be stationary in a parking lot.
Below, we give you 10 basic maintenance tips:
1.
Wash and cover it with waterproof hood to protect it as long as it is stationary.
2.
Remove the positive battery terminal so that is going to be kept in a good condition and not discharges every time you want to start the engine.
3.
Close the vents of the heating / cooling system to isolate the cabin from microorganisms and dust
4.
If the car is parked on level and safe place put chocks instead handbrake and never a gaer. If you could not use chocks and park it with the handbrake just 2-3 clicks.
5.
Inflate more than (50psi) the tyres so the skeleton should not be destroyied of their lengthy contact at a certain point
6.
Regularly put the car running (at least once a month) and move a few meters dront and back
7.
Every time you start the car, leave the engine running with the a/c on for a few minutes, the air-condition and heater to lubricates the rubber hoses and do not dry out.
8.
Let the engine run until it rises to normal water temperature (about 90 degrees Celsius).
9.
Remove anything useful or valuable value objects, located in the cabin.
10.
If you decide to use your vehicle again remember that you must first insure the car.
